JOB DESCRIPTION

Ocean Software has an onsite role, Located at the customers support office in Laverton.


The System Analyst role will be a member of the Ocean Support Team accountable for the system administration of the Pharmacy Integrated Logistics System (PILS). You will also be expected to assist with system support ranging from PILS, PPD, MEMS and other system environment within our Defence network which operates in over 63 Pharmacy and Medical Establishments throughout Australia and overseas.


The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Communication with customers throughout the process of all issue resolution will be paramount to success in this role. You will also have great time management skills, be self-motivated and be team focused.


This role is a supplementary role to an established team. You will need to assimilate to the team dynamic and function as part of this team.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:

· Responsible for the timely resolution of system related issues raised from support office staff, warehouse staff and Defence Pharmacists

· Responsible for early detection of issues with system infrastructure

· Analyse data and reports to ensure integrity

· Responsible for preventative maintenance of systems and infrastructure, including IT asset register, monitoring backups and ensuring up to date data protection security are in place

· Maintain a 'wiki' of key support, self-help and maintenance processes for use by internal support office staff, franchise partners and store managers

· Research the business's needs and design and document processes and systems to meet those needs

· Work closely with internal departments, stores and technology partners to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot business systems

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:

· Ideally two - three years of experience preferably within a national network, however as this role is a supplementary role a Graduate with the right attitude will be considered

· Demonstrate a capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands and the willingness to work under pressure both independently and as a member of a team

· A high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills combined with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the capacity to deal with a wide range of customers and staff
