Summary

Partnering with key stakeholders to facilitate the implementation and co-ordination of Enterprise change programs and initiatives that support the Australia Post Group Strategic Objectives. The role partners with Territory Managers and Processing Managers to embed service, safety and efficiency programs focused on change related workforce planning, governance and compliance across our Delivery Network. The role will see you working on the ground with various Facility Managers and Delivery Managers and contribute to the development and implantation of Key Programs and strategic transformation plans within the network. Location of the role is flexible and requires travel to various sites across our network.

What does the role involve?

You’ll partner with key stakeholders to facilitate the implementation and co-ordination of Enterprise change programs and initiatives that support the Australia Post Group Strategic Objectives. The role partners with Territory Managers and Processing Managers to embed service, safety and efficiency programs focused on change related workforce planning, governance and compliance across our Delivery Network.

The role will see you working on the ground with various Facility Managers and Delivery Managers and contribute to the development and implantation of Key Programs and strategic transformation plans within the network. Location of the role is flexible and requires travel to various sites across our network.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Drive and embed the transformational strategy by partnering with key Managers across the business to develop and coordinate tactical activities that achieve business outcomes
  • Review and analyse data insights that leads to the identification of priority areas and develop a change management plan to embed strategies that enhance customer, safety, quality and cost outcomes
  • Partner with leadership teams to develop coordinated change management plans
  • Collaborate and work closely with the leadership teams to support, coach and guide change programs within the Enterprise
  • Provide troubleshooting support and skills to sites on a needs basis to ensure the success of change
  • Engage with leaders at all levels to translate change programs
  • Actively identify areas of opportunity for improvement across the network
What experience will you have?

We’re looking for candidates that have a strong operational background, ability to build effective working relationships and implement plans into action. In addition to this, you will ideally have;
  • In depth knowledge and experience working in a supply chain/ manufacturing environment with operational processes
  • Experience supporting change in a large, complex organisation with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Operational leadership experience in a large complex organisation structure
  • Demonstrated experience implementing change management methodologies in local sites that are consistent across the network
  • Significant change management experience
  • Track record of effective negotiation skills dealing with industrial relations conflicts and negotiations with Unions and difficult workplace situations
  • Experience with building strong collaborative relationships
