Working for Victoria - Register Now for New Positions

The $500 million Working for Victoria initiative helps Victorians, including people who have lost their jobs due to the economic impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19), find new work opportunities. The Victorian Government want to support as many Victorians getting back into work as quickly as possible. Some of these roles will provide vital contributions to our state’s response to the pandemic.
The Victorian Government has been working closely with a global business services provider to assist them in growing their operations in Victoria. Based in the Essendon area, the establishment of a new contact centre is just one opportunity that will create hundreds of new customer support jobs over the next six months.
The Victorian Government through Jobs Victoria and the Working for Victoria Fund is working with the company to identify a potential pool of candidates and assist with pre-screening support.

Steps for registering for the new customer contact positions in the Essendon Area
  1. Go to ‘Working for Victoria’ website address:-
  2. Scroll down webpage and click on ‘I’m looking for work’ Tab
  3. Click on the ‘Register for Work’ button and provide all the requested information. Candidate will only be able to access positions once they are registered.
  4. Through the registration process candidates will need to select the matching categories on their profile so they can gain access to a particular role, in this case this would include the words customer service and contact centre.

  6. Following submission of an application, applicants may be contacted by Working for Victoria to discuss their eligibility and suitability. Candidates who are contacted by Working for Victoria and meet eligibility requirements will be progressed to the employer for consideration.
