Working for Victoria - Jobs in Brimbank
Posted: 27th Aug
Do you know someone living in Brimbank who is currently unemployed and looking for work?
Brimbank Council has started recruiting for jobs identified under the Victorian Government’s Working for Victoria program. The program is open to unemployed Brimbank residents – whether they have lost their jobs due to the impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) or have been without work for a longer period of time.
Council began advertising for sixteen office-based and administrative roles last week and will advertise more as restrictions start to lift. These jobs are for a period of six months and the first ones available are for communication advisers, project officers and ICT-related projects.
Jobs are advertised through the Working for Victoria online platform; applicants need to register as a worker through the Victorian Government website and then go to 'I'm looking for work'. You will then be able to register and start seeing opportunities posted.
Under Working for Victoria, Brimbank Council will progressively advertise and provide jobs for approximately 150 unemployed people.
